Surf's Up Watersports started with one boat, one lake, and a simple idea: most people have never wakesurfed, and most should get the chance. Today we run three Heyday wakeboats across North Georgia — delivery only, meeting you at marinas on Lake Lanier, Hartwell, Oconee, and Sinclair.
Most people who come out with us have never wakesurfed. They've maybe seen it from a beach somewhere, maybe ridden behind a friend's old boat that didn't quite throw the right wave. They show up curious, a little nervous, and ready to try something new.
By the end of the day they're hooked. That's the whole job for us — make it easy to get out, make it easy to get up, make the wave good enough that you want to come back.
We run Surf's Up as a family-owned operation. Real people answering the phone. We know our boats inside and out, we know our lakes inside and out, and we treat every rental like it's our own friends coming for a day.
Three boats — 2017 WT-1, 2023 WT-Surf, 2022 H22 — each best for a different size group and skill level. We'll match you with the one that fits your day, not the one that's available.
If you have a driver in your group and you just want the gear, that's an option. If you want a pro to position the boat for the cleanest wave and coach you up, that's an option too. You decide.
Don't have boat insurance? We provide it via the Boatsetter app (35% surcharge). Have your own boat insurance? You qualify for a discounted self-insured rate — email us at info@surfsupwatersports.com with proof and we'll set you up.
We're delivery only — we bring the boat to you and meet you on the water. Free delivery to any marina near Buford on Lake Lanier, the marinas near the city of Hartwell, and Sugar Creek Marina on Lake Oconee. Want us to launch at your own dock, marina, or boat ramp instead? We offer white-glove delivery anywhere in North Georgia for an added fee — just ask.
