The classic tow sport. Board, bindings, rope, and a Heyday wakeboat throwing a perfect ramp. Captain optional — bring your own driver or we'll handle it.
A wakeboard is a single board with bindings, ridden behind the boat at ~22 mph. You edge against the rope to build speed across the wake, then launch off the wake's lip into the air. Closer cousin to snowboarding than surfing.
Steeper learning curve than wakesurf, but more dynamic once you get it. If you snowboard, ski, surf, or skate, you'll pick it up fast.
Plan on 1–2 hours to get up and crossing the wake. We'll start you with a beginner board (wider, more forgiving), a longer rope, and slower speed. By end of day, most beginners are crossing the wake and starting to think about air.
Bring your tricks. We'll set you up with the board/binding combo that fits your style, position the boat for the wake you want, and just drive. Captain on the H22 or WT-Surf can throw bigger wakes for double-up sessions.
Absolutely. Bring your own setup if you have one you love. We have boards in every common size if you want to demo something different.
If you're brand new to tow sports, wakesurf is easier and you'll have more "wins" your first day. If you board (snow/skate) or want the more athletic experience, jump straight to wakeboard.
Yes — kids as young as 7–8 with good water confidence can learn. Smaller boards available. We always have a spotter in the boat.
